SkyTouch Technology will be hitting Austin, Texas June 15-18 for HITEC 2015, the biggest hospitality technology show of the year, with breaking product announcements – all part of the continual innovation that powers SkyTouch customers’ ability to grow without limits – whether it’s adding one hotel or 1,000. SkyTouch Hotel OS, the most widely used cloud-based hotel operating system, is a flexible platform that helps hotel companies achieve growth, advance operating performance and improve the guest experience. In 2014, SkyTouch released 50 enhancements to SkyTouch Hotel OS and its 60,000 users and will follow that trend in 2015.
Details will be released at HITEC about timely product enrichments that tie into current industry requirements and trends. Highlights of the announcements will include:
• EMV – The SkyTouch Hotel OS will support EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) in time for the liability shift happening in October 2015. SkyTouch Technology Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture and Research Larry Gorman will also present a Tech Talk on the HITEC floor about the impact of EMV.
• Guest Experience – SkyTouch Hotel OS will leverage customer preference and loyalty data to offer hotels a new guest experience program as well as enhanced guest profiles that link to social profiles.
• User Customization – A new system Welcome Screen will offer customizable content and messaging options and allow configuration to preferred links and shortcuts.
In the year since last year’s HITEC event, SkyTouch has formed important new partnerships with high-growth hospitality companies, Cobblestone Hotels, G6 Hospitality, Vantage Hospitality Group and others, as well as added key new interface SynXis CRS and new Sales & Catering interfaces. Many features are customer-inspired such as Social Media Engagement, Enhanced Guest Profile, a Quick Sell feature, and others.
SkyTouch will also reveal a “behind the scenes” preview of future enhancements at HITEC 2015, host a power-networking welcome lunch for industry leaders and make a splash with an exclusive VIP party on the rooftop of local hotspot Maggie Mae’s.
